UPDATE

I know it has been FOREVER since I have written here. I seem to be so crazy busy with mothering Jaxcynn and being a full-time student that any spare time is just spent enjoying my A-M-A-Z-I-N-G little girl. She is such a great kid, and even though she throws fits regularly when she doesn't get her way, she quickly follows them up with kisses and "wove you". She knows how to steal my heart!!

Most of you probably know that Hansel Baby #2 is on the way, due to arrive sometime in early February. The official due date is Feb. 13th, however since Jax was a whoppin' 10 pounds at 41 weeks, Dr. Costa is going to keep a closer eye on this one towards the end and probably induce by 39 weeks. I am perfectly okay with this plan!!

Brett is currently working in Stockton, KS, a little over 6 hours from home. With winter coming on we are hoping to get this job wrapped up soon! Jax and I stay at my parent's house when we are back (which has been a lot lately) and we will be there quite a bit in the coming months with doctor appointments every other week! It seems like we just found out we were expecting and now there are only 13 short weeks left to prepare for another child. I have to be completely honest and say that the thought of being a mommy of 2 scares me to death! I am afraid I won't be able to handle it at times, but other times, Jax kisses my belly, says "bebe", and reassures my assumption that she will be the best big sister a kid could ever ask for.

Well, this is what is new with us, hope you enjoy the update and although the pictures aren't brand new they are newer than the ones that are on here now. Hope all is well with all of you!

Jax Loves Lemons!

It was a beautiful day here yesterday and we spent most of it outside. Jax loves tooling around in her walker, thanks to cousin Wyatt Maize for passing it on to her. Everytime I have a glass of tea or water with a lemon wedge in it she reaches in my glass and tries to get the lemon out, so today I gave it to her! Hope you enjoy the video...

Sunday Funday...Not So Much Here Today!

It is cloudy, cold, and rainy here today-no fun for us! Jax and I are hanging out updating things on the blog while Brett and his boss, Rod, are outside cooking some dinner. We are smoking some ribs, pork loin, and I am not sure what else. I made potato salad yesterday (a new and very delicious recipe that I copied from a delicious BBQ joint next door to the campground) and am going to fix some baked beans in a little while. Hopefully we will have an awesome dinner!!
We are thinking of going to Savannah next weekend to see the sites and hopefully visit the beach (weather permitting). We are keeping our fingers crossed for a beautiful week and weekend. Our good friend Brittany Moses will be moving to Savannah at the end of the month so hopefully Jax and I can make a day trip down to see her after she arrives.
Yesterday we ventured to a nearby town to go to BestBuy and get a video camera--keep checking back for video clips of Jax. I have been trying to get a good one but it hasn't happened yet. Oh, by the way, she used her new pink ball this morning to assist her in getting stood up in the floor today, she stood by herself for a few seconds before falling down so I am guessing walking will be before too long!
We hope all is well with everyone reading this and everyone who isn't!

Georgia

Jax is quite the little ham anymore.
She now blows kisses...it is so so so cute!!

Sporting her cool shades from Grandma T.

Hello Everyone!

Now that we are in Georgia we are hoping to have a few people following our blog, simply to stay in touch with us and see new pictures of Jax. If you are looking please leave a comment.

Things have been cloudy here in GA the past couple of days...no rain, just clouds. Today I did laundry in the laundry room here at the park while Jax napped and Brett went and moved some equipment at the job-yard. I am going to post some pictures I took of Jax before we left Kansas-hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do. She is getting so so so big!!

We miss and love you all and hope you are all doing as well as we are :)

Update!

I just realized it has been forever since I updated our blog. Jax is now 9 months old ( I cannot believe how the time has flown since she graced us with her presence ) and weighs a whoppin' 22.5 lbs!! She is also really long, around 29 inches now, I am thinking basketball is in our future :) She is truly amazing and brings such joy to our lives on a daily basis. She is crawling everywhere, pulling up, and walking along the couch and chair--I am thinking she will master walking before too long, although I CAN wait for this one...She is talking more and more every day, now saying 'duck' when she sees her rubber duckie bath toys and this morning I heard her say sissy...the name we use most for her! When she says new things it melts my heart to think about how smart she already is! Here are some new pictures to go along with the post, hope you all enjoy!

Photos

Jax got her pictures taken at Thomsen Photography in Eagleville--excellent photographers and long time family friends--in the beginning of October. You can view them online by going to thomsenphotography.net...click on clients...click on Jaxcynn. Hope you have a chance to peek at them they are so so so good and capture her personality so awsomely!
